Anyone can argue that HTML (and CSS) are awesome but then blame the stupidity of people that cannot use them properly. This is like calling a developer stupid because they resort to higher level languages and don't bother to code in Assembly.

As you know, just because you do something well it doesn't mean that everybody can do it, one has to be realistic. Higher level languages were created to make development bearable for most, although a few could code in Assembly very well. HTML and CSS should have been replaced or changed long ago in favour something else more akin to the way things are done in 2021.
