Svelte is very nice, I like it. But both React and it have a layer of abstraction on top of HTML (not so much on top of CSS but all Svelte devs I know use Emotion for that). React and Svelte, when it comes to that, are in fact very similar.

I get why you don’t like Mint, it feels like too much for too little difference. Saying that HTML and CSS are fine like they are is too much of a stretch though.
