Your article was valuable to me in the sense that it made me think about things I am writing myself in the future of web development. Erlang and Elixir are surely interesting as concepts and surely OO has its flaws, especially as it is commonly used.

With this said, though, I think the article gets too passionate on some points, like when it attributes the success of TypeScript to marketing, which is simply not true. You can argue that web developers don't know any better, but in relation to JS, it is definitely a nice step forward.
